Howdy everybody!!!! I got some scrapping done last night for a couple of July challenges and I was crazy inspired by bright vibrant colours! No joke I went way overboard with the Neon yet I loveeeeeee the outcome.
First up is my entry into the Flourish with a Bling July Colour Challenge. Here is the palette...
Now I totally took the 4th colour as Turquoise so I hope my entry is good enough eekk. Typical how my printer clearly printed it out so differently but anywho here is my entry....
100 times per day
Some closeups of course of the gorgeous details. Checkout the A2Z Scraplets Mannequin & 2 Flourishes. They have been painted with Viva Metal Colour Paints and then the yellow was sprayed with Sunflower Perfect Pearls Spray. I then chopped up some FWAB Grace Pearl Flourishes and added them to the Chipboard Flourishes. Sooo cute! Love making these beauties work for the layout.
If you hadn't figured from the photo, the journalling is about how Mia needed to brush her hair everyday if she wanted to keep it long which she was obsessed about for a while. I told her about when my mum used to tell me to brush my hair 100 times per day.
Lots of yummy texture was added to the layout with 2 big doilies that I have sprayed with some Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Stain Sprays. The background cardstock was a fuschia pink that I have sprayed with some Dylusions Ink Spray over my 6x6 Crafters Workshop Starburst Template. I used it 4 times, once in each corner and it looks fab with the doilies covering up the joins.
Some more closeups of the fabulous A2Z Scraplets chipboard and Flourish with a bling flourishes.
The flowers are all from various places including Dusty Attic, Prima, Kaisercraft, & Handmade Halo

The next layout I have to share with you is my entry into the 123 Challenge for July.
The Challenge for this month is....
WORD: MY
COLOUR: PURPLE
TECHNIQUE: USE CHEVRON!
And here is my entry.....
My Brothers & Me
The background paper is some old Echo Park Paper from the Little Girl Collection. I have dripped lots of Chalkboard Mist & Crackle Paint as well as sewn lots of sections and the border. I decided I didn't like the White stitching patches so I painted them with some Glimmer Mist with a paintbrush.
Checkout the uber cute Charms Creation little lollipop thingie LOL I added it on top of some Doilies aint it cute?
There is some fabulous denim fabric ruffled under the photo and the Patterned Papers are from the My Minds Eye Bright Side of Life Collection. I just adore this collection and I am so bummed that this is almost the last of my scraps that I have left so I think I will need to get some more hehehe.
Well that is it from me for now, I have some more scrapping to get done!
Until next time...happy scrapping!
