Hi everybody! I have been finally having some fun with some personal scrapping time YAY!!!!! After a day out with my kiddies yesterday to the reptile park, I have finished a couple of layouts today and a card. First off I wanted to share the card I have made for this week's Feeling Sketchy Challenge. Checkout the sketch...
...and here is my take on the sketch. A beautiful shabby card using the fabulous new Prima Marketing Tea Thyme Collection. I have used a mix of 6x6 & 12x12 papers from this collection as well as the coordinating flowers.
A few closeups of course showing some yummy details. Checkout the fabulous ribbon. The ribbon I have used is from Tim Holtz Ideaology and is called Crinkle Ribbon. From what I can tell, this is the same as white Satin Seam Binding and I am in love with it! Here I have used Aged Mahogany Distress Stain to colour the ribbon to match and have created a double bow above the pretty Tea Thyme Prima Flowers.
I have also tucked a beautiful little Antique Brass Charm under my flower cluster which is of course from Handmade Halo. Not sure you can tell but there is also lots of machine stitching on this card as well. I love machine stitching and white machine stitching alongside distressed edges of paper means perfect shabbiness in my eyes.
Well that is all I have to share for now but don't worry, I have a few more to share tomorrow and hopefully I will not go through so many days without blogging every again LOL
Until next time...happy scrapping!
