Hi everybody, I hope you are all well. Today I have a fabulously textured layout to share with you all for CSI Case File No 32. Here was the Case File Details.....

...and here is my take on the challenge. I have used papers from the July Cést Magnifique Kit which are all Maja Design and simply breathtaking!

The fabulous netting is just an old onion bag that I have coated with Gesso but I think I should try White Spray Paint next time as some of the colour is still showing through.

The chipboard elements, including the crab and title, are both of course from A2Z Scraplets and have been given a very shabby look using Crackle Paints, Gesso, Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Stain Sprays and Acrylic Paints. There is also a gorgeous Chipboard Signpost with the name "Little Beach" (the location of the photo) and this has been painted with various Magical Micas from Lindys Stamp Gang as well as some Gesso.

Lots of yummy flowers used including Manor House Creations, Prima Marketing & Handmade Halo plus there are some gorgeous Antique Brass Charms peaking out from the cluster. The charms have had a rough dry brush coating of Gesso to lighten them a little and highlight their details more.

Some old book paper layers that were ripped and curled are just peaking out as well as a dimensional "Here Comes the Sun" Sticker from My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart Collection which actually pulls out to show some journalling about the day at the beach. Over the top is a fabulous Heidi Swapp Flag alongside another Handmade Halo charm and some Prima goodies including the Romance Novel Chipboard Hot Air Balloon and the fabulous Typo Bulb. I am in love with the new Prima releases!

The top corner and right side has some pretty little Studio Calico Clouds and Birds added and the stictching at the top corner is a definate earthy feature that I think goes so well with the layout.

And lastly is a quick close up of the beautiful photo of my girls exploring for treasure. This photo is just so beautiful and we just love this beach because it is generally very deserted because there is a very long hike through the bush to get to the little cove. Our little Oasis at Little Beach and of course the kids call it "their" beach! LOL

So all up I used wet medium, transparent object, burlap, mesh and even have softened edges to my papers for the Evidence. The testimony is that I journalled about a day at the beach.

Thanks so much for looking and until next time...happy scrapping!
