Hi everybody!!! I am back to share the 2nd half of my layouts for the A2Z Scraplets August Release. Don't forget you can view the new releases on the A2Z Website here plus you can view all of the amazing DT creations with the new releases on the blog here

First up is a fabulous layout titled Daily Routine, using the awesome new Butterfly Shape from A2Z Scraplets.

The fabulous papers I have used for this layout are from the My Minds Eye Bright Side of Life Collection

The fabulous chevron patterned paper has been fussy cut to show off the awesome zig zags better plus I trimmed some arrows from a similar paper from the same collection but red.

The fabulous Chipboard butterfly was coated with a thin layer of Platinum Liquid Pearls and I have then added a Rubon over the top. I have a few of these old Background Rubons in my stash but not sure if they are still around. I do think they are fabulous for covering chipboards but! The last touch was some rough inking using Archival Ink and then topped off with a Charms Creations Lollipop.

My next project is actually a canvas. Some of you may remember that I have been making canvases (whenever there is time) to hang on my scraproom wall to help inspire myself and others who come here to create in my space. Each canvas I choose things that inspire me creatively or in other ways and I just go to town creating and having fun and going with my mood. Love is, of course, one of my biggest inspirations and I instantly wanted to create a canvas when I saw this new Chipboard Title.

First off I coated my canvas in a layer of PVA glue and started to add some A2Z Chipboard Hearts as well as some spiralled twine.

Once all the twine & chipboard was in place, I have added some more PVA glue and layered some white tissue paper over the top. I tried to move it around a bit to create lots of creases and folds for more texture before it dried.

Once the tissue paper was dry, I could start to add colour. I chose to use my Dylusions Ink Sprays and started spraying randomly to get a pattern of colours that I liked. I then dabbed with paper towel and dried between layers of more added colour until I got the intensity I liked.

When my colour was making me feel happy, I dried for the final time and got out my archival ink pad and just rubbed it over the entire canvas. The black ink highlighted random raised areas and I kept going until I could see the amount of texture clearly that I was wanting.

The next step was to add some embossing ink and to do this I just rubbed the ink pad over the entire surface randomly as I did with the archival ink. I then sprinkled some WOW Ultra High Gold Rich Embossing Powder over and heated to watch the magic begin. Of course some areas had the powder adhere better than others so I repeated the process very lightly until there was enough thick shiny gold on the canvas.

The final step was to decorate my title chipboard using some Archival Ink and WOW Ultra High Gold Rich Embossing Powder. I also stamped over the top of the title with a script type stamp from my stash. A couple of fabulous Charms from Handmade Halo and voila! A fabulous canvas that brightens my spirit every time I glance at it.

Next up is a layout using the fabulous new title Dream like there is no tomorrow.

For this layout I decided to use a pic of my gorgeous girl that almost shows her in her dreamy mood she gets in. She is such a dreamer with the most amazing imagination and her creativity inspires me regularly. I don't ever want her to forget to Dream.

The papers I have used for this layout are from the My Minds Eye Collection Miss Caroline and I just the strips/banners I have created here.

Lots of fussy cut butterflies that have been sewn on and all the edges have been sanded back using an emery board.

The last layout I have to share today is of my beautiful girl using the new A2Z Scraplets title Pretty In Pink. I truly adore these photos of Mia in her pink outfit on Christmas Day 2010.

I have used a relatively older collection papers for this layout, Chloe Collection from 3 Bugs in a Rug.

The fabulous Chipboard title has been decorated using different Liquid Pearls and some patterned paper stuck behind the stenciled section.

Lots of fussy cutting, ripping and sanding on this layout and I just love that doily details sticking out here and there. I also dropped some White Mister Hueys Spray on the background.

Well that is it from me for now, don't forget to leave me a comment and let me know your favourites.

Until next time...happy scrapping!
